The condominiums at Buttonwood Reserve will be constructed using 100% galvanized steel framing. Steel framing is far superior to wood, providing outstanding strength and lower maintenance costs. The buildings will be designed and built to withstand a Category 5 hurricane. Exterior cladding will be Hardiboard, a concrete-based product. This combination of materials produces a building that is extremely fire-resistant and invulnerable to wet-rot and termites. Windows will be laminated hurricane glass, virtually unbreakable.
