Located 200 miles southeast of Miami and 50 miles east of Nassau, Eleuthera has three airports: Governors Harbour (GHB), just 10 minutes from Buttonwood Reserve, North Eleuthera (ELH), half an hour from Buttonwood Reserve, and a smaller airport at Rock Sound, an hour to the south. Getting to Eleuthera is easy with daily flights to Govenors Harbour and North Eleuthera from Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Nassau on Continental Airlines, American Airlines, BahamasAir, and several smaller carriers. There is also daily ferry service.
